Flowers In The Yard

This post is loaded with pictures. I didn't even get to all the different flowers in the yard.
First is one of our Purple Robe Locust trees. If you click on the picture you may see the bumble bees. It is loaded with them and no honey bees. This apple tree is not blooming right now but it was full of flowers. This was the honey bee's favorite!
Snow Ball Bush.

Purple Johnny Jump Up's with some Candytuft. The Johnny Jump Up's are all over the yard where ever there is water for them. Some are yellow and purple and other have no yellow.

Oriental Poppy's

Black Iris
Little white flowers that are a bulb. If I find their name I'll edit this any guesses?

Thrift.

Phlox.

Small perennial Geranium

California Poppies turn up all over the yard each year.

Columbine
And a dog who believes its too hot to sleep under the covers!

Your yard is so pretty. I am envious. I don't understand why you don't have rabbits because they would love to eat everything you planted.

Thems look an aweful lot like paperwhites to me. Narcisuss I think is the technical name?

Rayna,
Yes I did image google and they sure are Paper Whites. I remember paper whites looking more like dafodils and had a wonderful scent. According to the pictures these are paper whites also and lack the fragrance of the other types. Thanks, Mim
P.S. I see you interested in daylilies!

These little white flowers grew all over our backyard in Ohio when I was a kid. Mom called them "Star of Bethlehem."
