..the rose. Our only rose in the yard. This is her first year from bare root stock. These are the second set of blooms since early summer. The flowers are beautiful from bud until they are fully opened. Wonderful scent also.
What a marvelous coincidence. I just posted about planting my first roses in 33 years. The last rose garden I had....the foundation rose was the Angel Face.
Lovely rose and worth trying to keep healthy. I remember planting crushed egg-shells and a small fish 10" away from the root-ball. Made a huge difference. Good luck.
This is my favorite rose - Linda Lou got the one from my Little House. She always lets me know when it's blooming. I keep meaning to get one in, now that I live in really rose-friendly Oregon - maybe this year will be the one.
I live out side Reno Nv on 20 acres with my husband 3 dogs 6 cats and my flock of Shetland Sheep. We have a Ma-Pa landscape business I'm the bookkeeper secretary and girl Friday. The best part of the job is that the office is at home. This gives me the opportunity to raise the sheep, farm the land. ;o) and fiber arts but not as much as I'd like.

It's our only rose too and fighting to survive - poor thing.

Very pretty! I love the way the petals look like they're going to dance away!
