Lamb Update and Pictures

Valla lambed back on Wednesday the 15th. She has twin ewe's this is her and one ewe lamb. Here they are together out in our new field. The temperature outside today was around 80 degrees, so it was back to the barn for a larger piece of shade. The back ewe is an Ag and the front ewe has no "sugar lips" so I'd say she is solid like her Mom and the dark, dark moorit.
More pictures of some of the lambs. Most less then one week old.
Tess's tiny moorit ewe and her dark moorit brother.
Zorro (below) is the large single of Jorja's and does he know it! The class bully. He's black. A dark moorit ram lamb behind him, not sure who he is at this angle.

Sweet little ewe lamb of Bella's with her brother, another dark moorit.

Here they are again. I admit I'm not patient with a camera but I can't get the dark moorit to show anyway but black.
Sunday morning Kate had given birth to this little ram lamb out on her own. She is another wild child. Soon she'll settle down and I can get a close up picture. She is black and look at her ram he is, oh no, dark moorit.
And then there are the lambs and ewe's who you have to hold back to get a picture. Hattie and her ram are two of a kind. He's the little "spud-nut" short, broad and in your face like his Mom.
Black Ag. Hattie has a black face in the winter and now it is turning brown for the summer.
