New Stocking

Just finished another Christmas stocking. The plan was to have three done to sell for Christmas. Figured I'm way ahead of schedule now. I have eleven months left to do the third sock. Now I can set my goals even higher and do a few more sets before the Holidays come around again! First stocking is made of shetland wool (light color), hand dyed corriedale X (red) and the gold wool is BFL hand dyed. The newest sock is made from corriedale X (red and green) and the gold is the same BFL. Stitching and tassels are hand spun BFL.

Yup, you've got a leg-up on Christmas 2009. Smart planning Mim. They shore are purty.

The wind just picked up here, say ten minutes ago. Ian says it's 46 and it's 8:30. We are so screwed. Good thing we don't have a guild meeting tomorrow because it would be your turn to drive on the snow and ice.

What super stockings! Maybe I'll be able to felt like that by next Christmas. You'll have a good stockpile by then though, so maybe I should just buy a couple!
