Just finished another Christmas stocking. The plan was to have three done to sell for Christmas. Figured I'm way ahead of schedule now. I have eleven months left to do the third sock. Now I can set my goals even higher and do a few more sets before the Holidays come around again!
First stocking is made of shetland wool (light color), hand dyed corriedale X (red) and the gold wool is BFL hand dyed. The newest sock is made from corriedale X (red and green) and the gold is the same BFL. Stitching and tassels are hand spun BFL.

They are very elegant, Mim!
Yup, you've got a leg-up on Christmas 2009. Smart planning Mim. They shore are purty.
The wind just picked up here, say ten minutes ago. Ian says it's 46 and it's 8:30. We are so screwed. Good thing we don't have a guild meeting tomorrow because it would be your turn to drive on the snow and ice.
Great Christmas stockings! I had to laugh, you definitely a good head start for next year.
Very nice Mim! I love the way felted items look! I have to put it on my list of things to learn.
What super stockings! Maybe I'll be able to felt like that by next Christmas. You'll have a good stockpile by then though, so maybe I should just buy a couple!
These socks rock! Excellent job!
