Sunday Morning Walk

In the mornings I like to walk up our hill. As I walk up this is looking toward the top of our property. You can see the fence line but there is more property past there. The hill is so steep we never fenced any higher. This is the east side of the Peterson Mountain Range altitude is about 5900 feet were I'm standing.

Walking up the fence line. To the right is our other eleven + acres not fenced yet.

Looking down toward the pond our house center right. I walk with the dogs down to the pond occasionally. It's a good destination in the summer when it's hot. All the dogs get to take a swim before walking back home.

Same view almost. This just shows more of the other piece of property we own on the left. It already has a well, not hooked up yet and a few trees, two spruce and a line of poplars on the right of the two little spruce next to the fence line. There is a drip to these trees so I can water them from our well. I hope to fence this some day for the sheep.
My barn and if you follow the road on the top right of the picture it leads to our small community church. Really someones house. This is Sunday morning so there has been a lot of action as people drive by for church services at 10:00 AM.
Jobeth hunting rabbits. We have been over run with rabbits the last few years. These walks have helped to make the rabbits move on to other places. Also the quail needed to move on their own land above us with the local chucker. All of Peterson Mountain is BLM (Bureau of Land Management) land so they can live up there! I will never be without a Jack Russell dog. Jobeth is worth her weight in gold, all 13 pounds of her!

And then we're home!

I love where you live, it is so beautiful. Too bad you couldn't keep it a secret from your immediate neighbors.

Jack Russell Terrorist, you mean. I could use one since she's sending all the rabbits over to us. Nice walk - thanks.
